Jonny Ehresmann

Jonny is a Magna Cum Laude Bachelors of Music degree graduate of McNally Smith College of Music.  Known as one of the top young guitarists in the twin cities, Jonny grew up in Clear Lake, IA, where "the music died" in 1959.  This infamous plane crash helped to shape Jonny's life and musical education.  At a very young age, he fell in love with classic music from Buddy Holly to the Beatles, and soon turned to a life in music.  Along with these influences, Jonny is well versed in musical styles from all ends of the spectrum.  He currently teaches, records, writes in numerous bands across the metro area, including Jonny James and the Hall of Fames, and also portrays George Harrison in Rubber Soul, a Beatles Tribute.

Jared Masrud

Jared graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities campus).  Although he has experience in drumming and vocal performance as well as in recording and production, guitar has been his consistent passion for the last ten years.  Jared began taking lessons at Eclipse Music at the age of 14 from our former instructor Billy Graczyk (now in LA persuing a full time career in music) and was one of Billy's top students.  Early on, he fell in love with rock and metal, but has since branched out into blues, jazz, and steel string acoustic.  Over the years he has played in worship bands and his own rock/metal outfits, playing countless gigs and producing and recording his own CD.

Jared's background in music and education comes from growing up as part of a very musical family.  Both of his parents graduated with music degrees.  His father has a degree in both music education and composition, and his mother continues to teach elementary music education in the public schools today.  This environment gave him a deep appreciation for making music.  His teaching style strives to give students a solid foundation in musical theory and technique while at the same time getting students excited about playing guitar by helping them learn music in their favorite styles and from their favorite artists.  When not teaching, Jared plays in original local band Essex.
